Caring for broodmares and foals starts with the right feeding program. On our farm, we focus on quality forage, balanced nutrition, and natural management. Most mares thrive on pasture, while slimmer ones get hay with added alfalfa. Foals stay with their moms until 6–8 months and eat free-choice hay. We keep supplements simple — salt, minerals, Step 1 Mare & Foal, and hemp seed when needed.

The Canadian Horse exists since 1665, officially recognized as the national horse by the Canadian Parliament in 2002. Today the breed faces only about 2,500 worldwide and there is a risk of disappearing.

Our broodmares have many years of proven breeding experience. Usually our broodmares don't have any health issues or problems with foaling. They give birth on pasture naturally.
